Flock is operated by Townsquare Media Limited, based in Auckland, New Zealand. This policy explains how we collect, use, and store your personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
When you scan a Flock QR code and submit your email address, we collect your email address, the store ID of the merchant whose QR code you scanned, the date and time of your submission, and a unique voucher reference number generated for your visit.
Your email address is collected on behalf of the merchant whose QR code you scanned. The merchant uses it to send you marketing communications, loyalty perks, and competition notifications. Flock stores this data securely as a data processor on the merchant's behalf.
Your data is stored in a secure database hosted by Supabase. Access is restricted to the relevant merchant and Flock administrators only. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third party for their own marketing purposes.
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of any inaccurate information, and request deletion of your information at any time.
To unsubscribe or request deletion of your data, email us at privacy@flockapp.io with the subject line "Unsubscribe" and the email address you used to sign up. We will process your request within 48 hours.
